The Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is a 2.25-mile raised boardwalk that takes visitors through four distinct environments: a pine upland, a wet prairie, a cypress forest, and a marsh. Another must-see is the Naples Botanical Garden, which is in the midst of developing a fully accredited living museum on its 160-acre site located minutes from Downtown Naples.
Animal lovers young and old will love Caribbean Gardens. Part botanical garden and part animal attraction, the park lets you tour 52 acres of simulated jungle by foot, tram or boat. Regular wildlife demonstrations feature monkeys, elephants, snakes, tigers, birds and a host of other animals.

Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South are must-see's on your shopping agenda. These trendy, yet sophisticated, thoroughfares in the downtown area are popular strolling sites to see and be seen. The Village at Venetian Bay reminds one of the Mediterranean style architecture of Venice, Italy, and is located on the waters of beautiful Venetian Bay. An underground brick foot-tunnel connects either the side of Park Shore Drive, designed to give shoppers protection from inclement weather while still retaining the ambience of outdoor shopping. There is also a 950,000 square-foot enclosed mall called Coastland Center Mall which includes 150 stores and small specialty shops.
